Apollo.io pricing, with the credit math done

Apollo publishes a per-seat price and a monthly credit allowance. The number that matters is what you pay once you export at real volume — so here is the arithmetic, not just the sticker price.

The math on 15,000 contacts a month

Both columns use the same export volume. The difference is how each one is billed.

Apollo (Professional)
$79/user/mo, billed annually (published)
48,000 credits/user/year, granted upfront
  • An email costs 1 credit; a phone number costs 8
  • Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and never roll over
  • The year's credits arrive upfront, so a heavy month borrows from a later one
$79/user/mo covers about 3 months at 15,000 exports a month. Apollo doesn't publish what the rest costs.
LeadsMiner
$49.99/mo flat
Unlimited exports, every contact included
  • No credits or overage charges
  • Re-export any contact free, always
  • No seats. Your whole team is included
  • No contract. Cancel anytime
$49.99/mo. That's it.

How Apollo.io pricing works

You pay per seat, then per credit

The published Professional price is charged per seat and billed annually, and each seat gets a fixed allowance of credits for the year. Adding people multiplies both the licence cost and the allowance you are paying for whether or not it gets used.

Credits are consumed unevenly

Not every record costs the same. Apollo prices an email at 1 credit and a phone number at 8, so a list weighted toward direct dials drains an allowance roughly eight times faster than the headline credit count suggests.

Unused credits do not roll over

Apollo states that credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over, either into the next cycle or on renewal. Annual plans grant the year upfront, so a heavy month quietly borrows from a later one instead of showing up on that month's invoice.

The price past the allowance is not published

Once the allowance runs out you buy more credits inside the app. Apollo's pricing page, its credits page and its pricing calculator all decline to name a rate, so what exporting past your plan costs cannot be worked out before you have committed to one.

Questions people ask

Why is Apollo's effective cost higher than the advertised price?

The advertised figure is the per-seat licence, and it covers a fixed annual credit allowance. Exports beyond that allowance are bought separately as additional credits, at a price Apollo does not publish. So the advertised number is a floor rather than a forecast, and how far above it you land depends on volume you cannot price in advance.

Do Apollo credits roll over to the next month?

No. Apollo states that credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over into the following one or upon renewal, so anything unused is not recoverable.
